Linking Activities

To link an existing activity document to a schedule and a task

1. Go to Applications > Scheduling > Activities and click an existing the activity document to open it.
2. Click Edit.
3. On the Main page, in the Linked Task section, select the schedule. You can also select the task.
4. (Optional) Select "Recalculate dependent tasks when this document is updated" if you want changes you make to the activity document to propagate to any subsequent tasks that may depend on it.

To link an activity document within the schedule

1. Go to Applications > Scheduling > Schedules and click an existing schedule to open it.
2. Select a task.
3. Select a Linked Activity from the drop-down list.
4. You can open the linked activity document by clicking Open beside the Linked Activity field.

To remove a linked activity document

1. In the Schedule Gantt view, select the task.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Change the selection in the Activity Document Subtype drop-down list to a blank value.
4. Click the Activities pick-list button beside the Linked Activity field.
5. In the Activities pick list dialog, click Remove beside the activity and then click OK.
